Mina is doing her second doctoral study after obtaining her Doctor in Laws degree. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM). Mina’s PhD project uses the experimental design science research method to develop automated governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions that help tackle conflicts of interest in the fractional ownership domain.

Mina has a track record of the best paper award at the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) - the International Conference of Context-Aware Systems and Applications (ICCASA) 2021 for one of her PhD research papers. The key contribution of this paper has been in the development of novel automation solutions for addressing real world problems and taking advantage of decentralized autonomous organizations to improve governance mechanisms and business processes. As an extension of this research, Mina worked as a Project Lead Researcher of Project Catalyst by Carnado blockchain.
