BIO
Tadhg Moore is a Senior Lake Scientist at Limnotrack, Hamilton and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waikato. With a PhD in Freshwater Science from Dundalk Institute of Technology and postdoctoral experience at Virginia Tech, he brings expertise across lake hydrodynamics, catchment–lake coupling, ecological forecasting, and water quality data management. His work spans both fundamental research and applied consultancy, delivering science that directly supports water resource management in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally. His current focus includes integrated modelling of Lake Rotorua to support the implementation of Plan Change 10 (PC10), a significant freshwater management initiative in the Bay of Plenty region.
