BIO

Samantha Heath is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing specialising in health professional education. Her research examines how evidence, equity, and bias shape clinical decision‑making across diverse healthcare settings. Her work spans a range of contexts, including children’s nursing, older adults, and family‑centred practice, with a consistent focus on how education prepares clinicians for real‑world practice.

Samantha leads translational research and scoping reviews that synthesise evidence to inform curriculum design, teaching practice, and workforce development. She is also engaged in public scholarship, including a TEDx talk and writing for The Conversation, with an emphasis on making research accessible and usable for educators and clinicians.
