BIO

Dr. Sunali Mehta is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences and a molecular oncology researcher at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato | University of Waikato. She leads the Cancer Evolution Laboratory (CEL), a translational cancer research group that combines genomics, cancer biology, and precision medicine to understand how tumours evolve, evade treatment, and metastasise, with the goal of developing innovative biomarkers and next-generation therapies for aggressive cancers.
