Morag is skilled in Rehabilitation, Gerontology, Health Promotion, and Adult Education with strong administrative and project development experience.
Morag has a Master of Applied Innovation (Dist) focusing on transdisciplinary research and the development of the Enrolled Nurse role, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science. Morag has been involved in various health-related projects, including the introduction and development of the Dedicated Education Units at Te Whatu Ora. Morag received the Wintec Staff Award for Employer and Community Engagement (Te Tohu Kōkiri Hapori) for 2020.
Morag is commencing her PhD with a focus on neurodiversity.
Morag is a former member of the National Committee NZNO College of Gerontology Nursing, and is a reviewer for the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
