TEACHING AND SUPERVISION INTERESTS
I teach across multiple subject areas related to high performance and recreational sport, including the sociology of sport, sport coaching, and exercise science. To prepare students for successful futures in sport and fitness sectors, my aim is to foster the understanding that athletic outcomes are the product of intersecting sociocultural, environmental, and biological factors—and that, given this complexity, our current methods of engaging in and supporting sport and physical activity could be changed for the better.
