TEACHING AND SUPERVISION INTERESTS
Mere is an accomplished educator with extensive experience teaching undergraduate courses in the tertiary sector since graduating from Waikato University. She has had the privilege of teaching adult learners in both mainstream programs and Te Tohu Paetahi at Waikato University.
Mere has taught in spaces, including:
- Kaiāwhina Reo Māori - Certificate in Te Ara Reo Māori from Te Whare Wānanga o Aotearoa, Raroera Campus
- Kaiako Reo Māori - Certificate in Te Ara Reo Māori Levels 1-2 from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Raroera Campus
- Kaiako Reo Māori - Te Rōnakitanga ki te Reo Kairangi Level 5 from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Raroera Campus
Currently, she serves as a Lecturer at Te Tohu Paetahi at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato, where she continues to inspire and educate her students. She is also enrolled into her Masters Programme.
