Dr Linda Muchenje is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Waikato, based at the Tauranga Campus. She holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand; a Master’s degree in Finance from Shandong University, China; and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Her research interests include sustainable finance, financial technology (fintech), corporate finance, and investment analysis.

Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, China Economic Review, Research in International Business and Finance, International Review of Economics & Finance, and Finance Research Letters.

She also serves as an Environmental Sustainability Researcher at the New Zealand Shareholders’ Association.
