BIO

I am a Senior Lecturer and a New Zealand Registered Social Worker. I have practice experience in child protection, violence prevention, and health social work.  I have been a social work lecturer at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato since 2011, conducting research primarily into community health/health social work, values and ethics, culturally responsive practice, social work education and community disaster responses. Alongside of this I have remained very engaged with the social work profession through programme development, supervision and activities within a wide variety of professional groups.
