The focus of my academic work is embodied ways of knowing and in creative practice in the arts, particularly in dance performance and video/digital dance. I have a specialism in site dance and relationships to place through dance, considering environmental and climate change. I also engage in research broadly focussed in women's wellbeing and movement, drawing on my practices as a yoga teacher and somatic movement educator. My publications include performances for sites, stage and screen, books and journal articles that encompass both creative writing and scholarly academic text.
