TEACHING AND SUPERVISION INTERESTS
Over the years, I have taught undergraduate, postgraduate, executive education, and doctoral students on a variety of programmes. I have taught very small groups (e.g., tutorials) through to much larger cohorts. Since joining the University of Waikato, I teach the MRKTG309: Marketing Capstone paper at the Hamilton and Tauranga Campuses (as well as the online stream). Additionally, I deliver classes as part of my Adjunct Professor role at the University of Ottawa. Furthermore, I have been an internal examiner (also known as a moderator) and an external examiner for various universities' programmes (in different countries).
I have supervised to completion (and examined) dozens of projects, dissertations, and theses at a variety of levels (undergraduate, postgraduate, executive education, and doctoral). I am interested in supervising "high-calibre" PhD students in the broader area of entrepreneurial marketing, including (but not limited to) coopetition, strategic orientations (e.g., market-oriented behaviours), and internationalisation activities with different methodological focuses (quantitative and/or qualitative research designs). Please contact me to explore any of these potential topics in more depth.
