BIO

After fifteen years international travel, Gail came back to Aotearoa New Zealand to begin her journey at The University of Waikato in 2003. Gail completed her PhD in geography in 2014 and followed this with five years as a teaching fellow. Her research interests are the social impacts of disasters and climate change, specializing in relocation.

Gail is now Project Lead in the Work-Integrated Learning Central Unit (WILCU), she facilitates The Impact Lab program and works on new projects to sustain WIL at Waikato.
