BIO
I am a PhD researcher in the School of Sport and Human Movement at the University of Waikato. My research focuses on furthering intersectional understandings of gender and disability, centering women in Parasport within Aotearoa New Zealand. My previous research explored the experiences of women competing in wheelchair rugby in Canada. I am also a recreation therapist, with experience in the community sector in Canada where I developed coach and teacher education on physical literacy and inclusive sport.
