My research explores the interactions between agricultural management and the ecosystem, with a specific focus on soil carbon and greenhouse gases. I have over a decade of experience constructing carbon balances of dairy farm systems, including both pastures and cropping land uses, and recently have begun exploring nitrous oxide and methane emissions from these systems allowing for greenhouse gas budgets to be calculated.
