BIO
Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāi Tāmanuhiri
I spent eight years in the tech industry, working in various roles including software engineer, team lead, and project manager. I have always had a passion for education, problem solving and technology, with a focus on people and processes. For nearly two years I worked as a kaihautū (mentor) for a Māori STEM academy, helping secondary school student pathway to STEM careers.
I am now an academic looking to research indigenous software development methodologies, with some previous research experience in gamification in education.
